Safety Protocols

These are our top ten safety protocols that are in place.

1. We have modified our patient schedule to ensure extra time between patients, allowing for social distancing and sterilization between patients.

2. Our disinfection protocols already exceeded industry standards. We have implemented new checklists to ensure all CDC recommended coronavirus disinfection protocols are performed between patients and throughout the day.

3. Our team will always be wearing masks, and so will our patients.

4. All of our team members will have their temperature checked and be screened for COVID-19 symptoms every day.

5. Our door will remain locked to control occupancy and ensure social distancing. All patients must pass COVID-19 screening questions and have their temperature checked prior to entering office.

6. All submission of patient information forms must be done online prior to exam, to reduce time spent in office and increase social distancing.

7. Patients are encouraged to come to their visits alone unless the assistance of a parent or another adult is absolutely necessary.

8. Our optical dispensary is open, and all frames in our optical are thoroughly sanitized according to CDC protocol between patients. Optical staff will assist patients at all times when handling frames.

9. We will continue to offer delivery to your home for contact lens and eyewear purchases. We will also continue to offer curbside pick-up of eyewear and contact lens orders as well.

10. Our entire office team has completed a thorough training on these protocols to ensure they are consistently followed.
