Vision and Eye Health Evaluations:

We specialize in primary care comprehensive eye exams for the entire family.  In their evaluation of your vision, Dr. Sutaria and Dr. Woo, will not not only assess your need for glasses or contact lenses, but also the complete health of your eyes.

Every eye health exam includes testing and evaluation for:

  • Glaucoma

  • Cataracts

  • Dry eye and allergies

  • Eye disease related to diabetes, high blood pressure, cholesterol, thyroid disease and other systemic problems.

  • In children: Evaluation of binocular and accommodative function, which means how well the child's eyes work together and focus for reading.

At the end of the examination, Dr. Sutaria and Dr. Woo take the time to thoroughly explain their diagnosis and treatment plan, as well as answer any questions that you may have.
To assist them in performing an accurate, efficient, and thorough eye exam, our Optometrists use the latest in diagnostic equipment, including digital refraction technology and state of the art digital retinal photography.

Contact Lens Evaluation:
The contact lens evaluation is a separate examination aside from the routine eye exam. It includes a detailed measurement of the curvature of the cornea in order to choose the right lens for your eyes. Our Optometrists must also adjust the prescription of the contacts in order to correct your vision. She will first discuss with you the different options available, and then prescribe the lenses that will work best with your eyes and visual needs.
Follow-ups are important in making sure that the lenses are working well for you. If you are having any problems, our doctors will patiently adjust the prescription or the type of contact lenses until you find the perfect fit. Continuity of care is very important with contact lenses and maintaining healthy corneas. Annual examinations are required for all contact lens wearers.
Trying contact lenses for the first time can be an exciting and life-changing experience! Dr. Sutaria and Dr. Bierweiler love fitting new contact lens wearers successfully and will work with you until you feel comfortable in your new lenses. If you are interested in contacts or are unsure if you are a good candidate, ask our doctors for more information on scheduling your contact lens evaluation.

LASIK Consultation & Co-Management:
Dr. Sutaria and Dr. Woo are well known for her pre- and post-operative LASIK and PRK co-management. They will answer any questions you may have about refractive surgery options. Both of our Optometrists are affiliates of TLC Laser Eye Centers and also partners with ophthalmologists and other doctors in the area to provide you with all the care that you need.

Emergency & Medical Eye Care:
If you are experiencing problems such as sudden vision loss, pain, eye injury, light sensitivity, discharge, redness, flashes of light or floaters or any other eye related problems, please contact us immediately rather than heading to the emergency room or your primary care doctor. We understand the importance of immediate eye care and will make every effort to see you as quickly as possible. Dr. Sutaria and Dr. Woo treat most eye health and vision conditions in the office.
